LEONARDO Itinerary

This tour is created to discover the paths of Leonardo da Vinci during his 23 years in Milan.
We start visiting the new EXPO skyscrapers of Regione Lombardia and the Garibaldi area, then Castello Sforzesco, the “work place” of Leonardo where he used to go everyday. Continuing is City Life, will arrive by San Siro stadium, the “Temple of football” and the enormous Leonardo’s Sforza horse.

Then will arrive at UNESCO Heritage S. Maria delle Grazie church, where Leonardo painted the most famous fresco, “the Last Supper”. Here secluded, opposite the church, Leo used to grow his secret passion, a vineyard!
The tour will end passing one of the remained Navigli canals of Milan created with the important contribution of Leonardo. On his “Codice Atlantico” there is the design of a new engineering idea to manage waters.

Navigli GRAN TOUR

This route is mainly on cycle route or white path. Starting from Naviglio Pavese and its dams, will cross quiet country roads with rice and corn fields, cattle farms, little ponds. A refreshing stop in a typical Lombard trattoria to taste the local delicious products like salami, ham, cheese and a good glass of wine! Vegetarian food available. Then will reach the Naviglio Grande, along the historical route to arrive at the end to the city center… the best of borth milanese Navigli on a single itinerary!

Wonderful Navigli West

This tour is the perfect option for those limited on time, who just don’t want to do quite as much cycling. As with our other tours, our Milan Highlights Bike Tour travels at an easy pace and there’s plenty of time for questions and pictures at each of the stops.
On tour you will learn about all facets of Milan’s history and see several key sites, such as the Sforza Castle, Corso Como Fashion street, La Scala theatre and Duomo Cathedral.

Wonderful Navigli South

Itinerary mainly on a safe bike route: we leave the city center towards south and the sea, gong down in altitude!Along the canal we can see herons, nutrias, ducks, mallards, and even white swans that swim happy in the clean irrigation waters. Final stop is the magnificent Chartreuse of Pavia, a true Renaissance masterpiece where the Cistercians monks are still today preparing their healthy erbs infusions and sweet spirits.

The start is in Alzaia Naviglio Pavese with its trendy bars and fashion Cafes famous for the milanese aperitifs. We will bike along the canal that was for centuries a true challenge for hydraulic ingeneers, completed thanks to 12 dams like the Conca Fallata and Chiusa dei Molini, allowing the boats to overcome the difference in height between Milan and Pavia. Final stop is the fabulous Chartreuse, made by GianGaleazzo Visconti like the Duomo cathedral.
